Mike Carmichael, RFC®, CRPS® is the founder and managing member of Carmichael Financial, LLC, an independent, full-service wealth management firm with locations in New Jersey, Arizona, and Utah. With over 20 years’ experience managing clients’ portfolios, his passion for the Financial Industry, combined with dedication to his client’s future is the foundation upon which he built the firm.
The firm offers planning services for individuals, veterans, families, business owners and executives in the areas of investments, risk management, tax strategies, retirement, long term care, and estate and business succession planning. Mike also frequently assists multiple generations of the same family.
Mike earned his bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University and obtained his RFC® and CRPS® through the College of Financial Planning and is currently working on his CFP® designation at UC Berkley. He has had the privilege to serve as a member of the Cache County Estate Planning Board and lecture at several educational institutions including Utah State University, Stevens-Henager College and various Community Colleges. Mike is an appointed member of the MAC (Management Advisory Council) for SagePoint Financial. MAC members Not only do MAC members give honest and forthright reactions and dialogue to management which will assist in making executive decisions affecting the future of the company, they must also ensure that the voice of the Field is heard.
Mike was the recipient of the 2020 Best of Logan Award in the Financial Planning category by the Logan Award Program*. Each year, the Logan Award Program Committee identifies local companies that they believe enhance the positive image of small business in Logan Utah, through service to their customers and the community.
Mike enjoys dogs and the outdoors. After being introduced to skijoring, he moved on to be a musher and qualified to run the Iditarod. He is proud to be a Marine and he holds fast to the three Corps Values: Honor, Courage, and Commitment. Mike lives in Oro Valley with his wife, Elizabeth. They have 3 children, Nick, Grace, and Brooke.
In 2012, Holly Warner started in the Utah branch as an administrative assistant. Beginning in 2013, she took over Operation Management for all three branch offices. Her main roles include managing all office administrative functions, client meeting preparation and client support. Holly is currently studying for her FPQP designation.
Jackie joined Carmichael Financial, LLC in 2016 as an administrative assistant and is now administrative manager. Jackie’s main role includes preparing documents for new and existing investment as well as account updates. Jackie currently works out of the New Jersey Branch office and recently passed the FPQP™ (Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional) Designation Exam.
Assistant to the Operations Manager
Melissa joined Carmichael Financial Advisors, LLC in August 2021. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a Focus in Management from Northern Arizona University. Melissa also holds the FPQP™ (Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional) designation, and is currently studying for the Series 7 and Life Insurance License.
Melissa’s primary role is our Financial Paraplanner. She supports client meeting preparation, assists Michael with plan development and assists clients in Online Access.
Human Resources Manager
Liz Carmichael holds the title of Human Resources Administrator. Her main role includes 401(k) Administration and Human Resources to Carmichael Financial, LLC. She currently works out of the Arizona Branch Office.
